[VIDEO] Why routines are important & useful

Do you have a morning routine or ritual? In this video, Paul Lancaster (Newcastle Startup Week) describes his morning routine & why he has one.

This includes setting his alarm & getting up at 6.30am every day, drinking a glass of water & then drinking coffee whilst eating a bowl of cereal, reading the page for the day in ‘The Daily Stoic‘ book & then turning to a random page in his ‘Notes From The Universe‘ book, listening to some of his favourite music on random / shuffle, doing 30 press ups, then going for a skateboard ride before a shower (although during the winter he’s swapped the skateboard ride with 1hr of writing his ‘Start Something New’ book).
