FreeAgent, the UK’s number one accountancy software for small businesses, has confirmed they will be the Headline Sponsor of our annual Newcastle Startup Week festival for a second year in 2020.
The sponsorship will enable us to run our 5-day Newcastle Startup Week festival for the 4th year in May 2020, plus our monthly Founders’ Friday events which have been taking place at the Tuspark Barclays Eagle Lab co-working space in Newcastle on the last Friday of every month since July 2018.
Since 2017, almost 2500 people have attended our annual Newcastle Startup Week festival & monthly Founders’ Friday events to learn how to be more entrepreneurial & start or grow a business in the North East of England. With just over 600 delegates attending Newcastle Startup Week in both 2017 & 2018, then 790 delegates attending in 2019, we expect the number to rise even higher in 2020!
FreeAgent first showed their support for Newcastle Startup Week in 2019, providing our delegates with a special discount on their award-winning accountancy software, an inspirational talk by their Co-Founder & CEO, Ed Molyneux on Day 1, plus 1-2-1 business advice and support across all 5 days of the festival.
