Win 1 of 5 inspiring business startup books!

***PLEASE NOTE THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW ENDED***

With World Book Day 2017 taking place on Thursday (2nd March), I thought I’d have a look back through my personal book collection and pick out some of the ones that have helped and inspired me the most to start my own business, Plan Digital UK, last year.

I have A LOT of books so it was hard to choose but I’ve picked the following 5 because they are the most practical yet inspiring, will appeal to a wide range of readers and are also written by authors who are based in the UK.

Freedom From Bosses Forever, Start It Up, Get off Your Arse, Working 5 To 9, Bog-Standard Business

Freedom From Bosses Forever by Tony Robinson OBE, Start It Up by Luke Johnson, Get off Your Arse by Brad Burton, Working 5 To 9 by Emma Jones, Bog-Standard Business by Charlie Mullins OBE

I’ve also been lucky enough to meet these inspiring people in person and hear them give fantastic talks which have added to the inner knowledge and confidence I’ve obtained over the years which led to me finally going self-employed.

In the case of Tony Robinson, Brad Burton and Emma Jones I’d also consider them good friends too who have each helped, advised, supported and encouraged me immensely over the years. What’s more, both Brad and Tony will be speaking at Newcastle Startup Week on Monday 15th May and Thursday 18th May respectively!

In my opinion, knowledge is the greatest gift you can give someone so I’m going to give all 5 books away to 5 people who buy an ‘Early Bird’ ticket (just £20) for Newcastle Startup Week between Monday 27th February and Sunday 5th March.

We’ll do a random draw from all the names of people who book a ticket during this time and contact them to let them know they’ve won on Monday 6th March.

To enter, simply buy your ticket before Midnight on Sunday 5th March by clicking on the link below:
